Effective from July 1, 2022, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is banning the manufacture, import, stocking, distribution, sale and use

of the following plastic and thermocol products:

 Plastic carry bags with self-carrying feature

 Plastic cling films

 Plastic stretch wrap film, stretch film, or packing films

 Plastic shrink film

 Plastic and thermocol plates

 Plastic and thermocol cups and glasses

 Plastic and thermocol spoons, knives, and forks

 Plastic straws

 Disposable thermocol and plastic dishes and trays

 Plastic and thermocol bowls and containers

 Plastic pouches to store food or liquids

 Plastic coffee cup lids

 Non-woven plastic bags

 Plastic-coated carry bags

 Plastic-coated plates

 Plastic flags and buntings

 Plastic or PVC banners

 Packaged drinking water bottles, such as PET or PETE bottles with a

maximum capacity of 200 ml

 Ear buds with plastic sticks Plastic stick for balloons and balloons with plastic stick

 Plastic candy sticks, ice-cream sticks, and stirrers

Plastic products are made of harmful high polymer ingredients, such as polyethylene terephthalate, high density polyethylene, vinyl, low density

polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene resins, polystyrene also known as thermocol, non-oven polypropylene, multi-layered co-extruder, polypropylene,

poly terephthalate, polyamides, poly methyl methacrylate, plastic micro beads, and more.

The manufacture, usage, transport, distribution, wholesale and retail sale and storage, and import of certain plastic products have been banned in multiple

states in India including disposable products manufactured from plastic and

thermocol, such as single use disposable dish, cups, plates, glasses, fork, bowl,

container, disposable dish and bowl used for packaging food in hotels, spoon,

straw, non-woven polypropylene bags, cups and pouches to store liquid,

packaging with plastic to wrap or store the products, packaging of food items

and food grain material, and more.

School Bundles

School Bundles is a special category in which sellers can list if they meet the

requisite eligibility criteria set keeping in mind the product quality and selling

performance expected from sellers. Courtyard wishes to ensure that customers

are able to buy authentic and complete bundles of textbooks, notebooks and

stationery prescribed by their school with confidence from all sellers who list

such products on Courtyard.General requirements

Sellers interested in selling in the School Pack category and have their listings form part of the School Bundles storefront must submit an application for to the same. Applications will be evaluated to determine if the eligibility criteria for listing in School Bundles (mentioned below) are satisfied so as to ensure that

customers are able to buy with confidence from all such sellers on Courtyard. The eligibility requirements for selling in School Bundles reflect customer concern for accuracy of the list of products prescribed by the schools that constitute the respective bundles; and in turn consumer trust.

 

Note: If you are interested in registering to sell in the School Pack category you must qualify the requirements provided below. Once you write to us expressing your interest in School Bundles, you can expect a response within 30 days. If you leave your information, we will inform you when we expand our programme. Eligibility criteria to sell in School Bundle  To sell in School Pack, you must fulfil at least two of these requirements:

 

 You are in the business of selling school supplies to customers as prescribed by at least one Indian school for a minimum period of 1 year.

 

 You have an online presence through your own website or any third party marketplace.

 

 You can make available the complete set of pack of textbooks, notebooks and stationery as per the list prescribed by the schools for selling on Courtyard.

 

 Note that NOC from the school, allowing the sellers to use schools name and logo for setting up and marketing a store for selling school supply bundles for it on Courtyard will be important documentation that is considered while evaluating eligibility of the sellers.

Televisions are technical products, where customers expect products offered for sale on Courtyards.in to:

 

 Offer manufacturer’s standard warranty in India.

 

 Have detailed and authentic catalogue as mentioned in Television

 

Listing help page.

 

 Ensure order fulfilment or return pickup using Courtyard’s network. Any offer for televisions that violates this policy is prohibited from sale on Courtyard. It is your responsibility to sell products that are genuine and have manufacturer’s warranty valid in India. For instance, products purchased from the brand or manufacturer or authorised dealers have high likelihood of being genuine. The warranty terms provided by the manufacturer specify the geographic scope of the warranty and this must be checked to ensure that warranty is available for Indian customers. Televisions for which brand or manufacturer warranty is not available within India are not permitted for sale on Courtyards.in. To enable customers to track their shipments or have a seamless return pick
 up experience for their Television orders, you should list products that can be fulfilled using appropriate and reliable courier and transport services Moreover, all new Television ASINs need to be created only through Courtyard. Sellers can share the updated template by sending an email to vajrakavach@gmail.com. Our internal teams will review the details for catalogue accuracy before creating the ASIN on seller’s behalf. We will only be checking to ensure that the values are in conformance of our policies. You will be responsible in the way the product is described and any other compliance required to sell these products.

What are homeopathic products?

 

Homeopathic medicines include any drug which is recorded in homeopathic proving or therapeutic efficacy of which has been established through longclinical experience as recorded in authoritative homeopathic literature of India and abroad which is prepared according to techniques of homeopathic pharmacy, and covers combination of the ingredients of such homeopathicmedicines but does not include a medicine which is administered by parenteral route.

 

Homeopathic medicines can be either ingestible in the form of tablets, capsules,syrups, powder, pills or drops; or topical in the form of creams, lotions, ointments, tinctures, oils, balms, salves, shampoo, or anything else that is applied directly to the body.

 

Permitted Product Listings

 

 All listings for the mentioned products are restricted on courtyards.in marketplace. Sellers intending to list homeopathic products on Courtyards.in marketplace must furnish the documents mentioned below. For approval to sell these products, a seller must submit their request directly to Courtyards.in business team along with all the below mentioned mandatory documents:

 

 Drug Retail License (DL) in Form 20C or the renewal of retail license in Form 20E.

 

 A duly signed copy of the declaration on the company letter head confirming adherence to all applicable laws must be submitted.

 

 Fulfilment Mode: Seller fulfilled including Seller Flex (seller fulfilment also includes Seller Flex model).

 

 The retail invoice will have to include Batch No., Expiry Date and Manufacturer’s Name.

 

 A physical copy of the invoice to be maintained for a period of 3 years.What is required to list homeopathic products?
